Stage 1: Welcome and Briefing

Meet the local Winter Nordic Walking instructors in the lively heart of Sappada.
Handout of the poles and a short introduction to walking technique on snow and to managing your effort.

Stage 2: Immersed in Nature

Set off on foot from the village, leaving the built-up area behind.

Cross the River Piave and follow the course of the Rio Storto.

A relaxing and evocative walk through the majestic fir forests of the Bosco Digola.

Stage 3: The Heart of the Experience

Arrival at the romantic Laghetto Ziegelhütte (1.186 m), an artificial lake nestled among the woods and the foothills of the Col dei Mughi.

A stop devoted to the instructors' stories: historical anecdotes, local curiosities and tips on the best panoramic spots for taking photos.

Stage 4: Return

Walk back to the starting point in Sappada, enjoying the snow-covered landscape from new perspectives.
